KTAOS Solar Center hosted the fund raiser for Habitat For Humanity.  The emcee was Paddy Mac and the fundraiser was a success for all that was at the party.

26th ANNUAL WINTER WINE FESTIVAL

Festival was held at El Monte Sagrado Resort with over 30 wineries from North America and over 20 restaurants from Taos, New Mexico.  The wine festival was a total blast.

TAOS COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHRISTMAS MIXER

Taos Chamber held it Chrismas Mixer at Taos Country Club.  It was a wild Christmas party with lots of good food.

"FALL IN COLORADO 2011"

With a school assignment called "Concept Project I traveled to Colorado to photograph the color of aspens.  While visiting the headwaters of the Rio Grande River capturing images of aspens and the mountains they live on, I did some fishing and had some good luck catching rainbow, brown, and brook trout, all natives.

"MICHAEL HEARNE'S BARN DANCE MUSIC FESTIVAL"

This years Barn Dance was held at Old Blinking Light in Taos, NM.  The event is a three days of music from some of the legends of song writing.  Some of the musicians on had, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Michael Martin Murphey, The Trishes, Mentor Williams and many more.

"TAOS GYMNASTICS ACADEMY 20TH ANNIVERSARY"

"ACES AND EIGHTS MOTOR CYCLE RALLY"  August 2011

Santa Cruz HA 81 hosted the "ACES AND EIGHTS MOTOR CYCLE RALLY".  The rally began at the Britainnia Arms in Aptos, Califorina and ended at the Santa Cruz Moose Lodge in Scotts Valley, CA.  At Moose Lodge was the after rally party with good food and music.

"KTAOS SOLAR BEER AND MUSIC FESTIVAL"  July 2011

"Ktaos Solar Beer and Music Festival" The Radio 101.9 and the Station Bar at Ktaos Solar Center in Taos, NM. , hosted the first annual beer festival.20 Breweries with three bands The big Spank, Crazy Fool, and The Blue Hornets---bands all from Santa Fe.

"LAMA FOUNDATION"  August 2011

Lama Foundation is: a "community", a not-for profit organization, and a "spiritual home" to many. Our Mission is to be both a sustainable spiritual community as well as an educational center dedicated to all spiritual paths.

While visiting the Lama Foundation north of Taos, New Mexico, I was privileged to witness and photograph the Purnama Sari Dance Company. The dance is traditional Balinese Temple Dance.
