Jim Cox Artworks Studio

Much of my work has been inspired by 20 years of living in the Southwestern United States near and among Native American people. My art covers oil paintings, acrylic paintings, pencil drawings, and photography.

My love for art has been lifelong but it wasn't until the year 2002, after receiving a diagnosis of a potentially terminal illness that I began a full commitment to my passion for art, a commitment that I feel helped me survive and overcome that illness.

In the spring of this year I will be attending my 8th semester at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California.
